Hello Everybody (HI Doctor Nick)

Anyway...i have a ps2 iso..PoP The Two Thrones...and when i tried to burn it to a DVD-R or DVD+R...the i/o message keeps on coming up..this has been happening ever since i reinstalled my Windows XP Pro..Help Wud Be Greatly appreciated..thanku

what message exactly?
check your dma/keep an eye on the buffer/try another program

o..srry...i just put the write speed to MAX...thats wat i did and it worked...

well just to say if that worked for you then okey dokey, BUT its DESIRABLE to burn at 1x-2x becuase there are less disc errors. If the speed is fast a bit of information could be skipped and that could crash the game (this happens!) so a slower speed causes less errors like these. But hey if it worked for you then good for you, that's the main thing

Usually even set to max it will still only burn at about 4-5X on an 8X DVD, half the speed the disc is rated for.

You should burn 4X DVD's at 1-2X
8X DVD's at 4X
and never even bother to buy 16X as they suck royal!
and always use top quality media.
