Hey guys.
How can I succesfully burn God Of War DVD9 version?? I have Nero , DVD Decrypter, and recently bought a VERBATIM +R DOUBLE LAYER 8.5gb dvd disc. Both my modded 75001 PS2 as well as my Sony DRU-800A DVD burner also support DVD9 backups.

So... do I just burn the game like any other PS2 game (I mostly do it with DVD Decrypter at 4x, with high quality 8x verbatim DVD-Rs ), or do I have to do some specific method in order for it to work??

depends what mods you have on your ps2s... if you have dms with the latest toxic firmware then you're I think the latest matrix infinity also is ok but, if you have other mod chips then you gotta use the DVD9 patcher I think it's called toxic dual layer patcher.

NTSC DNAS threads.

Ok guys, I already have the .ISO with the .MDF, they're about 8gb. And I have my Verbatim DVD+R DL double layer disc.

Now, all I have to do is change the BOOK-TYPE to DVD-ROM.

I'm using DVD Decrypter, but when I go to "change book-type" , there are only a few dvd burner brands, but sony's not one of them. My burner is SONY DRU-800A.

So, how do I change the book-type?? Do I have to use another program in order to do it?

Check this guide for change the booktype (page 2 i guess):
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/275350

Also i have a question:

How do you know if your DVD burner support the bitsetting?

I have a Lite-On SOHW 1653S. A few days ago i tried to do the booktype to a Ritek DVD+R DL with the DVD Decrypter. But when the burning was finished, in the info box of the Decrypter it say that the booktype still was DVD+R DL.
But when i tried to do the booktype with the Nero 7, in the options of the burner, the booktype is not available.
This means that my burner do not support Bitsetting?

I have a LG burner and it supports bitsetting.
The LiteOn also supports bitsetting so what you need to do is change the booktype settings to DVD-ROM in DVD Decrypter for the apropriate DVD media(+R, +DL...)
I have also been able to burn a DVD-ROM with Nero and my LG burner
If you have a Matrix Infinity with the latest firmware you don't need to patch the DVD+DL, at least GT4 doesn't need it.
The only problem is that Sony DVD burners don't support bitsetting... :(

That's what i did. In fact i did it TWICE (DVD+R DL to DVD-ROM the 1st try, and DVD+R DL EEPROM to DVD-ROM the 2nd try). But after i did the booktype, the media still remain "DVD+R DL". I wasted 2 DVD9 in none time (DAMN!)
What i don't understand is the fact that the Decrypter let do the booktype. But the Nero 7 doesn't. ???
I don't have a Matrix Infinity modchip. I have a Mars PRO GM603 modchip.

I burnt the game yesterday, and it works perfectly!!!! Just in case, I applied the toxic patch (although I think it wasnt necessary).

And to Jose24, you say Sony dvd burners dont support bitsetting?? Either you're a liar, or I own a miraculous special version of sony dvd burner, cause my dvd supports it :)

Well, thanks for everyone that replied, thanks for your help!!

Oh, and my chip is the Mars Pro GM-815.
