I recently installed the flip-top on my ps2. However, I'm having some problems. It seems that most of the time when I touch on the top of the ps2, it resets on its own. Because of this, almost everytime I try to swap out the discs, it resets. Does anyone know what the problem is?

most likely you messed with the reset and open tray cables that run past the dvd drive. Take a look inside and see whats up. And post back if thats it or not.

You probably didn't install it properly... remove the top and install it again, also check your cables

Yeah and I know you got it to work but don't put the case on too tight cuz this might throw the disc off and the laser from reading it. I've ran into a couple of people I know where we have had to take the case off and not put it on as tight so the disk sets properly. But glad you got it all taken care of. Have fun with the backups!
