If I'm copying a backup, do I need to go through and decrypt, isobust, etc... it into .iso format again, or can I just push copy Alchohol or Nero? Thanks for any help.

I'd suggest using DVD Decrypter or Alcohol 120% and just do a 1-1 copy, Nero is at the bottom of my list for burning

as long as that copy is good and works, then it is just a strait up
copy. I would use DVD Decrypter as it is one of the easiest.
Then just copy it to another disc.
The only time you would have to patch the game again is for online play. Patching for online play has to be done on every copy you make.

Not if the copy was patched already. The DNA$ will still be in the new copy, since it was originally 'patched into' the iso that the original backup was burnt from.
Its only original (store bought, rented) pressed discs that lose the DNA$ information.

Always 1st with 100% working PS2 Online Game DNA$ IDs!!
