i can`t find a thread about it so i`ll ask . has anyone ever used dvd wizard pro to backup games?. were they good copies? was it quick, does it rebuild games? etc. doe anyone have any info on the product.

well it`s out there, and boasts, that it is the complete ripping tool. dvd`s, cd`s, games you name it, it can copy it (apparently). but i don`t know anyone who`s uses it. it`s not that expensive so i might just give it a trial myself. i currently use gnie`s expert (gnie-us), or DVD Decrypter then Nero.

Sound's like a hoax to me, there's a lot of those things flying around on the net, they claim it can copy ANYTHING but you need to register the product. After a while their website would disappear and you are left with a program that doesn't do anything useful.

Just to clarify here, but gnie's expert tool doesn't copy games.. it rebuilds them, removes dummy files(most) and leaves you with an ISO you can just burn to disc in most cases, instead of using cd/dvd gen etc. You'd still need to use DVD Decrypter or similar to get the ISO to your hard drive in the first place.. unless you downloaded the ISO.
If you download ISO files and just want a program to burn them with you could use imgburn, DVD Decrypter, Nero, alchohol120 etc etc.. and in all cases apart from imgburn those programs can be used for ripping the ISO too.

sorry my mistake, i was never any good in my english classes, i know gnie`s exp is a rebuilding tool, but http://www.dvdwizardpro.com/ apparently `copies` everything (i know some games need rebuilding, and this tool might not suport this) dan168 you are probrably wright, i just thought i`d ask the people who know about these sorts of things. If you guys are unsure about it i`ll give it a wide birth as i walk on by. thanks for your feedback.

Basically when it says copy everything it's probably only referring to creating an ISO anyway.. same thing that many free programs do anyway. It most likely won't support rebuilding the ISO etc anyway, so you'd just end up with another program that is left in a drawer somewhere.
Just take your time mastering using DVD Decrypter or other ripping program and rebuilding etc.. find out all you can about it step by step and if you need any helkp there are plenty of people to give it.
Or you can try that program out and see what it's like, it's your call... good luck with whatever you decide to do.

You're not disagreeing with me - I said it's more than likely a waste of time and money basically.. but ultimately it's his call, you can tell people how to backup, what to use etc until you're blue in the face and they still ignore us half the time and do it anyway, LOL.

Yeah I'm very certain it won't be any better than just using dvd decrypter or whatever - but it's up to him if he wants to waste his money and try it out.. i'm not his keeper, LOL.
All we can do is give them advice.. it's up to them whether they take that advice and save themselves time and money :)

lol, my advise to tallen8 is...: if you really want to spend the money and buy it, i'd suggest you pay me instead and i can give you a complete guide on how to rebuild games :P

There are too many free tools out there and i have not seen anything other than the DVD burner itself and some quality DVD's that you have to pay for to copy games or rebuild them.

but i do actualy read all of your guys stickies and have learned (but not yet mastered haha)how to rebuild. it`s just that i am relitivly new to all this
and sometimes need to ask what you might think, is a dumb question.
