Fixation errors, disc erase errors, high compatibility dvd border failures etc.

An example of my try:

I have the US07 firmware i think.

&my burner is called: TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552U

I really am stuck.

My Nero version is: Nero 6 Ultra Edition 6.6.0.18

Chris.

Chris, can you post a Nero log of your failed burn, it's located here
Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt

It starts like this

Windows XP 5.1
IA32
WinAspi: -
ahead WinASPI: File 'C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=2.0.1.74, size=164112 bytes, created 11/2/2004 1:54:32 PM

and ends like this.

Existing drivers:
File 'WNASPINT.DLL': Ver=V1.20, size=57344 bytes, created 2/4/2003 8:24:08 AM
File 'Drivers\PXHELP20.SYS': Ver=2.03.32a, size=20640 bytes, created 11/17/2005 12:19:28 PM (Prassi/Veritas driver for win 2K)

Registry Keys:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon\AllocateCDROMs : 0 (Security Option)

Please only post your LAST log which will actually be the top log in that location

I cant help you with the answer you seek, I did read this however as a reply to a similar post in another forum, it appears that it is quite common with Nvidia
Quote:
Nero can't determine the DMA status with Nvidia (& some other) drivers. You should be able to see the status in Device Manager though.
Quote:
Session fixation error
I also read you should try a different brand of media, I notice you are using Ritek, DVD-RW, have you always used this medium
