converting .avi file with xilisoft video conv. yet it takes 1 sec and say 0:00 as time

After i convert it which takes an unusual 1 second...in my output i transfer to itunes and it says the length is 0:00...why wont it convert correctly?

I think the conversion process didn't completed at all. Try converting other avi files. If xilisoft still can not deal with your AVI files (maybe they are a little uncommon like divx, xvid, etc.) You might as well try cucusoft or PQ.
