Hi! I have Nero 7 Ultra edition and have made a few slides shows. Everything works fine, but when I view the shows on my television most of the images are very fuzzed out looking. Initially, I hade used the largest files I had and thought that was the problem so I made them smaller and it got worse. Is there an ideal DPI, etc. for television? Is it different for ideal viewing on a computer screen? I'm getting very frustrated as I can find nothing on this topic. THANKS to anyone who might have some helpful info!

I have been using NeroVision in all of its versions since 5.0. I have found that although V7 in almost all of its iterations has been in the words of many a "bughouse" that 7.0.8.2 was stable and produced a much more predictable photo quality on TV screen. The new release 7.2.3.2b (why "b" already??)is fast and smooth -- as yet..
I do only slides and cannot speak for its AVI handling and other features is concerned.
The almost 2 minute boot up for NVE in the previous version has been fixed. It took my 4200x2 athlon less than 5 seconds to boot NVE!
RE resolution, I use my 8MP images (via RAW and Photoshop CameraRAW conversion) very bright sharp and excellent contrast on my 76cm high definition TV screen.
BTW getting the transfer correct depends on having your monitor correctly adjusted so that the image as seen on the monitor will be a close match to the print made without any further adjustments.

Don't give up. If you have difficulties make sure that they do not originate in problems in your system.
