i am having trouble backing up and 1 streetball. i tryed to rebuild the game. but when i get to the point where i open up appache2 and try to build the iso it just stops at 94%. i heard that there was a dummy file so i deleted it and thought that would solve my problem but it did not, and it still stops at 94%. i just don't understand what is wrong. and genie rebuilding tools arent working either because the game is still like 4.15 gb. any suggestions would be helpful. thanks

i have the same game and it worked fine with me going online to also i did not have to rebuild it if you are using a swap magic you should be fine, im using the coder and it worked fine tell me if it worked

hmmm um what type of media are you using and what burn speed also if this is an ISO you got then you my have a corrupted file

the media i use is philips dvd-r 1-8x i burn at 4x and the game is not downloaded so i don't think it would be corrupted . i am just about to give up on tryting to copy and tips would be helpful. thanks

Your last post will get you banned from here (renting a game from blockbuster and copying it). Plus its also against the law. Even here in the great white north :)

try using gnies expert tool.. available here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/292163

very simple to use.

select shrinker as the plugin
open up the ISO file you want to shrink.
press 1 which extracts the LBA
press 2 whcih extracts the game files.
press 3 which rebuilds the game files and removes/replaces dummy files
press 4 which rebuilds the LBA

you'll then be left with a NEW_game.ISO or similar.. select that to burn with DVD Decrypter in ISO write mode or in Nero select "burn image to disc" and burn at 4x on those phillips 8x discs.
