Looks like that will work however. You have 2 slots of ram. And you want to buy 2 x 512mb of ram. So bets bet would be to just get a 1 gb stick of the same type of ram.

Thats a nice setup and you should be able to play most games.
Good luck

Yer just stick to the same guidelines and you should be fine. Also make sure if you plan to be overclocking your ram you get some good heat spreaders.
About power supplies im no expert but make sure you get a good brand such as thermaltake and also make sure its got a good enough fan on it.

And you should be ok playing thoose games but maybe you should go for a 256mb card?
Not too sure should play them alright.

ok when u say 256mb card u do mean video card correct? and could u recommend any that would work for my computer?

EDIT: srry for beging such a noob but i was wondering it says i have a expansion slot of AGP x4 x 1 so when i search for cards at newegg.com do i click the AGP 4X/8X tab or the AGP Pro 4X/8X or perhaphs the AGP 2X/4X tab lol thansk agian

EDIT2: whats the diffrence between Geforce 6600, Geforce 6600GT, Geforce 6600LE, Geforce 6800, Geforce 6800GT, Geforce 6800XT, i asume the higher the number the better the card? but some gforce 6800xt card cost less than gforce6600gt cards

hey,

Yes i meant a good video card.

Also im not 100% sure about AGP pro but yes an AGP 8x will work in a agp 4x slot just at a slower speed.

The difference between them is there core speed and memory. The 6600 is teh graphics engine as such. The mempry is the available space for the card. And the clock speed is how fast it will run.

Hope that clears things up.

Also to spec you out a card whats your budget?

Sorry i got that wrong before. It may work in a 4x port however it wont be as stable. So maybe just stay with 4x. Any way whats your price?

Im sure that will be fine. But dont expect to do any extreme overclocking with that system. But yes thats looking up to be a pretty good pc.

I have the X1800GTO And its simply a brilliant card. So i assume that same series should live up to my expectations.

Good luck and tells us how it goes!
