yesterday I backed up the game soul caliber 3. I tried playing it and it worked fine. Later that day I tried playing it again and it didn't work. I tried 3 more times and it still didn't work. I tried the original disk and it worked. I then tried the backup again and it worked. Today I tried backing up Enthusia and I used a Memorex DVD rather than value disk in case that was the problem. I tried it immediatly after backing it up and it worked. I came back later and tried it and its not working. Any idea what the problem could be? Im using a slide card.
X2 3800, A8n deluxe motherboard, 7800GT, Xion 2 case
2GB Patriot DDR 400, Audigy 2 ZS gamer, 400GB SATA RAID 0
games Im looking forward to: bioshock, SSBB, enemy territory quake wars, halo 3
currently playing: command and conquer 3, supreme commander, counter strike, shivering isles

I would start by getting better media.

memorex is listed as second class and I burned an 8x disk at 4x so I dont think media is the problem

Memorex is actually the source of most problems when it comes to backing up games.

agree with above... I know memorex has given a lot of people problems, try Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim or Sony DVD-R 8x and they should work perfectly

Memorex does suck. Caused me a lot of problems. Then I switched to Verbatim and haven't had any so far!
