LG Firewire Problem

Hi all,

I recently got a LG DVD Multi format writer and as I have a laptop I have it in an external casing.

Now the USB connection works fine, although as my laptop only supports USB 1.1 its slow!

I originally used the Firewire connector on it to burn disks with no problems but now it just wont have it. It wont even erase a DVD-RW and I get a "Reset Occured" error.

The firewire works fine with my video camera so im a bit lost!
