when is the psp mod chip comming out and since im under 18 i dont have a credit card so can i buy it cash somwhere locally

Dayum... i just saw the installation instructions for it and WOW. I hope there are respectible installers out there doing this for people. I installed my ps2 chip myself, but I'm not even thinking about it with the psp after seeing that.

ehh, I'm thiking that some places will open up to it like modchipman.com. I see they have a PSP section allready, just depends on if they're up to the challenge I guess.

Yea..... $150? Yup, I'm gonna keep my 1.5 for now and monitor the situation. I'd love to have one, but not that much. I waited to play GTA, I'll wait for this.

LOL no kidding....Only reason i will get the chip is if there sint a loader to play Gran Turismo and FF Crisis Core when they are released.

oh yea, if I can't play FF, then I'll just update, get a chip, or buy a new psp if I have to. One of the reasons I 1st got the psp was the possibility of getting some mobile FF action.

yea, I had heard it was gonna be action based (I've also heard the new FFXII battle system will be action based), but that's cool. Like you said as long as they stick with the FF essence we'll be fine. It seems FF has become more of a game quality label than a series. I'm sure I'll still get it and love it.

Whatabout one of those pre-paid credit cards? Would they be effective here? I'm under the impression that you can purchase one wihout having to be 18, but even if they did, you could get someone you know to purchase it for you and use it online.

I believe the question was about how hard it is to install.. Do it easy, but not for the inexperienced solderer.. PS2 chippers will be ok as will good solderers. But I got my head down waiting for the flood of bricked ones with faulty installs that are coming. it's not even that expensive from where i'm at. May just have to get one for experimenting, along with a firmware messed up psp.
