Hi um i have a psp with firmware 2.01 and i was just wondering if i buy a game will it ask me to update to 2.6? If so which games will do this? Last question were all psp released in Australia 2.01 or did they start at 2.00

i went up to the latest (2.71) and its really annoyin how you cant play homebrews or isos on it. i hope someone cracks it without the use of a modchip soon or sony just give in with their next update and allow homebrews (which i dont think will ever happen) my psp is a white version from japan which i got at christmas time so i think the firmware which originally came on it was fairly up to date anyway but an advantage is that i dont have to worry about games not wotking on it. i do also like some of the features in the latest firmwares.

there is a way u can downgrade from firmware 2.6 to 1.5 now. thanks to the people who developed it. if u need a guide to how to downgrade it, browse around the forum, and i am pretty sure u will find one.
