i know htis has probably been answered but my actual game got demolished (the orignal copy) so i burned my friends iso that he made.i have no clue how to do it., anyway i have just begun backing up games and my kh2 works fine. no skips in fmvs etc. but others hav tons of skips in fmvs and sound sequences and have odd load times. is this due to the dvds i use? i use tdk. cnan anyone help me stop this anoying problem. if this has been answered already just direct me to the right spot. i can't seem to locate it

how are you burning them and what programs are u using? also how do you boot up ur games (modchip, swap magic, etc.)?

i use swap magic and im burning with Nero at 4x speed

where are you getting the .iso files from? downloaded, copied to hard drive...?

yup. mines was screwed so my friend gave me his iso. i coudlnt copy mines any longer. and his runs fine.

ok you just lost me. i was asking where did he get the .iso from. did he download it, or did he use DVD Decrypter to get it off an original copy of the game. I think you said from an original game so if that is true, try using DVD Decrypter to write. Go to mode>iso>write. if you are using +R media, then change the booktype to dvd-rom. If that doesnt work than your iso file is bad or something.

Well it depends on where he's from. Here in New Zealand most TDK's have the CMCMAG code which is rubbish.

Yeah I agree, it's no good telling people that TDK etc are good media.. most brands outsource from different manufacturers, so TDK could be ritek, cmc mag etc... have a look at the media code and see what it says.

they are 16x DVD+R tdk
i was burning at 4x speed

as fo rupdate a few games ar ethat way yet my kingdom hearts 2 is perfectly fine oddly enough.


p.s I just read that 16x speed disc and +r both cause problems. So should i assume that one or both of these are most likely the problem and i lucked out with my kindgom hearts 2 working perfectly?
