So we've solved our nat problem, but now if more than one person on our home network uses Azureus, it majorly slows down the bandwidth on all copies. Collectively our d/l rate is less than one person could get by themself.

We have a Linksys WRT54GS with 2 pc's hardlined and a mac powerbook connected wirelessly. All of them work fine by themselves, but when two people are running the program, both receive terrible d/l speeds.

Some thoughts i've had on the matter:
Do wireless connections using bittorrent cause this slowing?
Are there router bandwidth settings that need adjusted?
Are there settings in the advanced Azureus preferences I can change to eliminate this issue?

Let me do a wild guess.. you opened up a port on your router and then set it in Azureus on both machines ?

nope. all machines have different port numbers. checked that first thing.

and before anyone asks, the appropriate ports are forwarded to the appropriate ip addresses for each computer
