hi i was reading forums on a diferent site and someone said that on the newest version of PS2 (the slim) that you dont require a mod chip to play burnt games? i havnt been able to test this because i have the older PS2. anyone want to imput?

the slim ps2 needs a modchip just like the older versions. the only way your slim ps2 will play backup with out a mod chip is by using swap magic and a flip top.

If you don't have a mod chip... you HAVE to have swapmagic with a ghost switch or magic keys. You cannot play backup games without some way of booting them.
