okay so i installed all the tools sucsessfully in my ps2. then i put swap magic in. than i put in a DVD+R disc and it say "not a valid ps2 disc". so then i try and put in an original with swap magic and it works. also when i open the open it to put in the backup, it says "insert a bigger TOC". by the way, my version is 700XX.

one of the tools needs a tweak, when I first installed I had those probs, I pushed down on tool B and the laser burst into life.

DVD Dycrypter. ive also got a question because the disc just stops everytime i open it. im using this method:
1. Start DVD Decrypter
2. Select Mode, go down to ISO Read
3. Select your Reader & Destination
4. ?Decrypt? the ISO Image to the Hard Drive
5. Wait for the ISO Image to be made
6. Select Mode, go down to ISO Write
7. Select the ISO Image file you made, click ?Open?
8. Select your Burner, Write speed & Burn the ISO

Ok I think you havent got the SM tools quite right, You shouldnt need to open your ps2 except when SM displays the load programme screen, and at that stage the disc should not be spinning. Just take your time and reinstall the tools.

but is the burning method with DVD+R okay? and it doesnt spin when i open it at the loading program screen, but it can only boot originals.

yeah I only use +R and they work fine booktyped to DVD-ROM but dont worry about that yet, your games wont boot because your ps2 is sensing the lid opening, you need to try again with the tools, take your time and focus.

lol you better find it dude, I think you can get a fliptop for slimline(?), Might be easier for you if your having trouble with the tools.

Yeah thats the same instructions I used when I got mine. Zoom it up big so you can see it properly, You may have to get somone else to do it for you or this thread is never going to end.
