Burning an MP3 data cd, applying CUE files to some MP3's..

Howdy all,
I want to make a Data CD of MP3's for use in my car MP3 stereo.
Some of the albums I have on my computer are already made up of seperate songs, no problem. But some albums are complete MP3's, that I have previously burned (to their own CD) with a CUE file.
Can I apply a CUE file to an MP3 amongst others on a Data CD? This would be instead of splitting the albums in question..

not sure how cue file works with audio... I assume same as with videeo and apps.

can you use winamp to rerip the songs individually?? or is the songs in a single file?

if a single file contains multiple songs (or clips) you can use Audacity (Free, open source) to edit/compile and even record audio files. it comes with wav and ogg vorbis capability, but you will need to follow their directions on finding and installing the lame codec for MP3 capability... a bit of a hassle, but worth it since including it in the install would mean they would need to charge you to pay the license fee.

you need to buy winamp for the "rip to MP3" (again the license fee) but I think it is worth it.

the free alternative is to rip to WAV (windows media player might do this for you or the free version of winamp should do this otherwise there are many opensource programs that claim they can rip a cd) and use audacity to load the WAV file and save it as MP3
