Hi,
I've got Swap Magic 3.3, the retooled version of AR Max Evo (so that it can be used with swap magic), and Swap Magic 3.3.

I was able to use this combination without fail on my old school PS2, but it took a dive and I went out and bought a nice new slim white one.

Anyway, now in the final step of the swap process when I insert the backup and press X the screen just turns black and you can hear the PS2's laser or drive running desperately all over the place.

I can boot backups and everything else fine.

Does anyone know a way to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Do you mean you can load backups but the laser's moving a lot?

Sorry about the confusion.

No, I mean I can load backups no problem without using AR MAX, but when I try to use AR MAX the laser/drive freak out and just continue to make a bunch of noise until I turn the PS2 off.

AHh ok, sorry can't help as I didn't have that problem, when I used to use swap magic, it worked fine for me without too much hassle...

Hmm...Okay.

Perhaps it's my version of Swap Magic. I guess I might have to update.

Thanks for the help anyway.
