I just wanted to know, how much can you rely on the estimate time left until completion, on BT clients.
are they accurate?

Well it depends on if the speed stays the same or not.Many times the speeds will decrease when seeds stop seeding.They can increase as well.So yes and no.
They're perfectly reliable for the current dl speed. But, since speed fluctuates all the time, so does the estimation. It has no way to know that you're gonna hook onto someone with 200k upload speed, or that that person is gonna log off, so it's based on THAT MOMENT'S throughput. Throughput goes up, dl time goes down. Throughput goes down, dl time increases.
