i use Ares to download stuff, shhh.... i have Verion DSL at 1.3m i think, when i download something, my speed can go up to 160kb/sec, usully around 120kn/sec, now i use to use bittorent but for somereason it was really slow, so my question is, is there a better version of bittorent but works kinda the same, anything fast out there to download things off the net or peers? thanx

Yeah something similar to bittorret would be utorrent.I recommend it.I hope you know the difference between p2p like ares and p2p like bittorrent.

Torrent software is best for downloading torrents as where ares is best for music nothing bigger.Also torrent software is safer and other differences.

Mate theres alota tweaks to get the optimum outa your connection when downloading torrents for example forwarding your ports, not choking your DL speed, perhaps your isp is throttling your connection or port number if its the standard set up.
