I have music videos on dvd I'd like to rip to either format, AVI or mpg. I don't wish to however, rip the entire dvd rather I just want specific videos. Any suggestions on the best app which will allow this? More or less as you can guess I need something that allows me to pick a time like 00:00:08 to 00:03:45 and just rip the video there instead of the whole dvd.

I use and recommend ImToo DVD Ripper:

It's very simple to use and has different ripping methods.

Thanks folks. I've been using it all day. I have to use DVD Decrypter first otherwise the timing is all off when I try to create an mpg from the dvd.
