I've been recording some various shows off television and now I'm planning on burning them to DVD. I have a problem with one of the episodes. I used MPEG Corrector to make a quick fix on the file after it was captured using ATI All-In Wonder card (which has screen cap errors if you don't).

Typically I keep the originals, which I can easy burn to DVD, but for this one episode I deleted the files and all I have left is the MPEG files that have been run through MPEG corrector.

The problem is that MPEG Corrector did something to the file headers and now they won't load into any editing program or DVD burning program. Everytime there is some other error message.

My question is this:

Is there a way to repair/edit MPEG header files to trick them into working in an authoring program?

They work fine using Media Player and just about every other MPEG file player.

I've been trying to fix this for 72 hours.

HELP!
