m8 iv done exactly what you said to the orignal iso.. replaced the files etc.. iv gone to save and let it make an isoo....
i checked the file size and its ended up at a massive ...2.73gig from a 421 mg..

then you are not doing right....prxs are very small, at most your iso should increase a few hundred KBs. If you want this done, tell me STEP BY STEP wat you are doing, what you are replacing....everything you are doing. Take some print screens and show me what you are doing in UMD Gen. Post them here.

ok from the begging then. .. here is the daxter file untouched iso ..
421mg.........daxter.iso..
i then open UMD gen ....
i then go to file...open.. fide daxter.iso...
go into the usdir-then modual
then there are these files...
tehre are 17 prx files.. i replace this using the UMD replace button on teh right click of the mouse... once this is done...
i go to save.. it comes up where to save the iso.. i asy desktop...
it starts makin the iso.. when finished it ends up at 2.7 gig..
tahts all i do

same outcome m8.. i checked the file and it seems that the movies are taking up loads of room.. however they were in the first iso i had and that was only 420 so i stil cant see the problem??
file size with files u gave me was: 2.71

then try playing the game, use umd emu, use trhe system menu boot option, load the iso, then load MPH gameloader, see if it works.

just one more question.. i downloaded the MPH loader and it a part of it tehres a read me taht says place here firmware 2.xx flash0 ehre..
what do i do with this??

compress the hell out of it now, remember to use daxzioe after compressing, but its the same process. System menu.......Congrats on getting it working:)

hi again.. uv been real help./.. but it seems when i use UMD emu to load the cso and dax to restart in system menu to then use the dax loader.. before i can get tehre.. it crashes..
whats that about?

You can't use cso with dax, if you want to compress you'll have to use the dax creator to compress it to a .dax file

yes ok put i was told to load this game i need to open UMD emu and then load the iso on teh systelm muenu.. then go to MPH loader and it wil work.. and with a nornal ISO it did...
when i compressed it to a dax format and loaded it with UMD emu.. the psp restarted as normal and came to the system menu screen...
however bebfore i could enter the mem card to get the the MPG loader..
the psp totaly crashed and i couldnt move..
any idaes?

with the uncompressed iso it worked..
however when it was compressed after the UMD emu was used it restarted as it should and then crashed ...

but through the DAX compression it doesnt work through DAX loader..
it just sits there at a blank screen
what are the settings mayb i have got them wrong.

lol the settings are the same!!!! Think of dax as an upgraded umd emu, the settings are all the same!!!!
