you know i dont understand all this share ratio business that goes on with private trackers, is a 1:32 a good share ratio?
what is a good ratio to have in general?
all help is gracefuly acceptedn thanks!

Man how old are you bluray?
You come up with the easiest questions.Just seed as much as you download or close to and you'll be fine.
It's easy the ratio is just how much you download compaired to how much you upload and visaversa.You know the difference....

So is 1:32 a good ratio or not?
I am kinda dumb for my age i know it but it does offend me when people pick on me, by the way i am 11 in october!=)

It doesnt matter if its an easy qeustion and bluray can be as young as he wants, qeustions like this and posted and answered everyday but we've all been there before, rather than saying his qeustions are easy and qeustioning his age, set a good example for him to follow tycobb cuz when I was new I looked up to people andmerr, gear79, pulsar, -Kemisti- etc and that really helped me develop, BluRay will be a different person once he has more aD down him :)
@Bluray, thats a nice ratio man, I'll swap my bitmetv ratio for that one :p (I'm on the breadline @ Ratio: 0.113 UL: 694.65 MB DL:6.02 GB Act: 1 1 Invites: [0] atm, however in like 5 days if I've planned corectly I will survive from auto class demotion and have a great ratio).
Your answer can be found on pretty much every private trackers FAQ, but anyways, your ratio is basically how much you have downloaded to how much you've uploaded, if you have downloaded 1Gb you must seed 1GB(share to others) to maintaine a ratio of 1:0 as the upload must match the download, if you download more than you seed this will hurt your ratio and put your account at risk, you understand now?

This is an example of a UPLOADERS ratio.
(Meaning I have only Uploaded files and not downloaded much.)
Albeit not ALWAYS easy to maintain.
(Unless you can upload and seed a torrent file.)
Just stay above 1.0 And always seed AT LEAST what you download.
If you stay over 1.0 you wont have problems.

anyway since i am here.
i think that uploading is a good thing wether your on a private tracker or public, i think helping out others is great, seeders and leechers help you so when you finished y dont u repay the favour? makes sense, i would gladly help out a few BT users by seeding, because i believe they may do the same and keep the BT world alive and healthy, i think you would agree wouldnt you?

Thats a good man BluRay, keep up the possitive attitude towards seeding and all the private trackers will love you!
And The_Fiend is a great example to look up to IF he is in a good mood, when he is not you should run......swiftly, just don't ever do anything that could piss him off and you need'nt worry :)

Another example of a good ratio:
Whats the best ratio any of you have ever seen other than an uploader ratio... theres a guy on a tracker who's got like 5TB up and 2TB down....
