Please help me with .cso files- i need to play guitaroo man!!

Hi everyone,
i have downloaded a couple of .cso files- any help with how to play these?
i am currently happy with devhook- will they work with this somehow? or will i have to master another loader!?
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Anyway, cso files are compressed ISOs that are compatible with devhook, so you can carry on being happy with devhook!!!!

First of all, you'll need to download umdgen 2.0, think you can get it from psp-hacks.

3.02 is out now - thats what im using
but - cso files arnt really that great - i can never get mine to go much small
why not just uncompress em back to iso with iso compressor
juiced works fine without messing with prx's if its an iso, havnt tried it cso

Yeah but I heard you can't swap prx's with any versions of umdgen higher than 2.00.
I was just on maxconsole and some guy said you needed to swap the prx's, but I guess you know your stuff so I'm not gonna argue!!!!

wwelll im not sure on swapping the prx's
with 3.0+
but i know i didnt do it to get juiced working
you probably know more than me about this

For csos, the compression seems to be "random".
Its based on the game.
i had one it only shrank it 40mb out of 800.
I had another go from 300mb to 100. Which is obviously a good boost

Just for clarification, UMDGen 2.0 is what's needed to swap prxs. 3.0 and 3.02 can't do that.
You only live once and I'm gonna drink and smoke it away.

i nearly smashed my 1.5 psp trying to load devhook on it- when all the time i had had it on from the start!

thats ok- can u explain the umdgen for me?wot does it do?
i have mastered devhook (yipee) and i also have umdemu.8c whihc i know how to use----
please say it is similar to these!

Unfortunately it's not like those. Umdgen enables you to swap prx's and rebuild ISOs, it's not a loader. You may not need to use it, depends if the game you want to play needs the prx's swapped.
