i have backed up some of my ps2 games...and i was wondering if there is a way to find out the speed i burned my DVD's on...because some of my backed up games work and some dont, so i wanted to see the ones that worked, which speed i burned it on, so i can now on burn on that speed.

Any Suggestions...Help?

Thanks In Advance!

I don't think it's possible.

Just burn at half the max stated burning speed, ie 4x on 8x discs.. and use good quality media.

If you're after more guides etc have a look in my sig below.

I really don't think there's a way to do it... the way I understand it, most(if not all) burning programs will start out slower and build up to the set burning speed and sometimes even go over it depending on the burner/media used.
So, my advice would be to follow the recommendation of burning at half the max speed of the disc.. and next time when you do burn a disc, make a note of what speed you used and whether that works for you.
I use either 4x, 6x or sometimes even 8x.. but I've been backing up for quite a while now and know what media and speeds my ps2 likes... good luck with it

I don't think you can find out the speed you burned a game at. Or any disc for that matter. I don't think they're any info burned on the DVD that retains that info. Maybe your burning program keeps a text log file?
