My Square and Home buttons are messed on my psp

Hi. well my psp has 2 problems by square button and home button don't work since like 2 days ago and my warranty expierd :( in may with EBgames. I don't wanna send it into sony so what should i do?

Do you have a custom faceplate on it?

I fix lots of PSP's. Its either the buttons themselves, although i doubt that. I am willing to bet its the PCB under the sqaure, triange, circle, and X buttons. That PCB also has the power switch connected to it. Most american sites charge 20-30 bucks for the pcb and switch. I would look on ebay for it, i found a complete one for 2 bux plus shipping. As for the home button. Once again, prolly not the button, but the button bar underneath it. It could also be caused from the PCB with the square button because the button bar plugs into the PCB i mentioned a second ago. I hope I didnt lose you. If you would like a pic I have pics of broken down psps.

Yeah you can fix it yourself. but taking apart your psp voids the warranty. Yours is up anyway isn't it. The most your going to need is a new PCB and the button bar. If you need more pics or need more help email me or post it here. I sent it also. :)
