Ok, i need to talk to people that have got the modchip. How do you put it on? Is it safe? Does it work okay? I have ordered mine off the internet but it will not arrive for another week, so I need all the information i can get, so I will be ready for it when it comes. tanx

If you are going to do this urself...this is in no way a newb process...either take it to a professional but I don't think u want to (money issues, right?) or u should watch video's of ppl doing it...text will not be enought...but ya, u should also read text...having said all that...I cannot help you with soldering but I can comfort u by saying (Im not sure bout this) but I think when you buy the chip, it comes with step by step instructions on how to put it in...but beware the material is sooo small that even professionals at soldering from this website are going to sweat over it...I am not saying this to discourage u but...if I ever find something out...I will tell u...or if sum1 sends me a how-to..I will send it to u...

1. It does work "okay"
2. If installed correctly it is "safe" (It's not risky like downgrading or anything), I only think you can f*** things up physically (not sure tho)
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

Like hell it isn't. Downgrading is easy. Soldering this thing is NOT.
Software wise: It's perfectly fine and has no chance of breaking your PSP.

Sort of, but my sisters boyfriend knows all about that, so he will help me aswel. I havent been able to find any helpful videos on people installin the modchip, as in soldering it on etc.......
