No matter what I do I cannot complete transcoding a 50 min Nero project into DVD format. It freezes at different points. i.e 10min,20min even 35min. No error messages. I do not run any other programmes during this process. I have to restart my computer.
I have 1GIG Ram and 400GB storage. running windows XP (SP2)
This video was compiled by myself(no copywrite issues) and was intended as a gift. Now it looks like I will have to give it up. Any suggestions?

Try TMPGEnc Author. NVE frustrates me. This is a link to version 1.6 of TMPG which is fully functional. The newest version is not.

What type of files are you using--.avi? If so, there have been some problems there.

You might try exporting the videos first to put them in DVD ready format and then putting them back in NV4 to make the DVD.
