You can easily downgrade your psp using the mphdowngrader

yeah i know i hav bin read up on it but that think is i dnt want 2 waste the money 2 brick it you so is it ezy and does it work well?? and wot about the new games comeing out u need a 2.0 oo high 2 play them is that true??

Think you'll be ok as long as you don't have the TA-082 mobo, and if you do brick it you could always install the modchip and unbrick it. I'm running 1.5 and nearly all the latest games run on it.

well i can get the mod chip put in it 4 $200 aus is the a good price?? and when i get it how will i know it got the modchip in it and has not bin downgrade

You'll be able to have custom firmware if you have the modchip installed
