how do i download videos or pics directly onto my psp using internet. i tried downloading a racing video the other day. it said that it was downloaded and it asked me in what file i wanted to put it in. so i picked the movie file, but when i went to my movies nothing was there. so i wanted to know how u acces thos files or if its just not possible to view internet files on a psp. id appreciate any thing u can tell me about this subject greatly.

If your downloading a video directly from your psp the video has to be downloaded with the name already edited for PSP use. You can just connect your psp to your computer and dowload a video and rename it to MAQxxxxx.MP4 for AVC and M4Vxxxxx.mp4 for standard MPEG, with the five x's being numbers.

well i didnt really undertstand what u wrote my intentions are to be able to download a video off the interent then immidiatly just watch it like we do on computers. u just download it then u have then u watch it. tho since obviosly the psp is not as complex as the a computer and can only play mp4( i think) i might not be able to view those files without first changing them into mp4. i just wanted to know if there is any way to just download a vid off the internet from the psp and then just exit the browser, acces the file, and view it

No unless you have 2.7+ firmware. You can't watch vids online wit psp.

i know i have the same problem too only sometimes when i want to watch a video or flash the screen where its supposed to be playing is just white and when it is loaded and i send it to video it isnt there

i also have a 2.7 version and and set flash and videos to On mode. The good thing is that i can download pics

You can't put movies on the memory stick and view then on your PSP if you have FW 2.0 +, I believe.

Thats just plain wrong. You can watch movies on your PSP (with any firmware version) provided that they are in MP4 format.
