last year i had Nero i liked it but last week it got currupted so i deleted it my mom lost the insaller disc but i no my serel nuber ive tried trils like 7 of them and they dont install right they only go quarter way then it say disc designing transomthing can som1 tell me how to fix this or tell me of anoter burning program that has all yhe Nero functions

you might wanna try the combo of DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. it should work. you might wanna contact Nero

Hi supermen
How did it become corrupted? Have you checked your pc for virus and/or spyware?
Do that first -if you need some - here's a link to a virus scanner & 1 to a spyware (free or trial)

Which version of Nero did you have? If before 9/05 it was probably Nero 6.
If that's the case run the clean tool and install version 6.6.0.18

it got currupted caus a p2p worm it messed up all the files when i deleted the worm it was to late none of the programs worked anymore so i deleted the whole thing no when i try to do it again it doesent finish the installment and yes it was Nero 6 smartstart

Did you reformat your hard drive? Even that may not given you a clean slate. Have your ran any virus/spyware scans?
Are you having problems installing other software or pc problems?

Ok- try running the clean tool 1st for Nero 6 to remove any traces that may be left.
Then re download Nero from the links above.
Try again. You may just have a bad download.

hi

my Nero 7 also wont install compleatly.when i try to install every-
thing gets installed but i have problems with the soundtrax option.
it crashes when i play back with it.the music also is intermittent.
Nero 6 works very well even the Nero 6 soundtrax is ok.its only the
Nero 7 soundtrax is off.the Nero 7 soundtrax is different from the
Nero 6 one.

Do a custom install and uncheck that app from the install.

I'm not fimilar with this app in Nero.
But I do have a problem w/ Nero 7 (all the later versions that I've tried) and playing/converting mp3's. Audio skips or is choppy. Don't know if this is your case or not.
One suggestion I can give is to unintall Nero 7 (Nero 6 too if you didin't already) - then run the clean tool for both 6 & 7. Then reinstall 7. You may need a clean install.

hi

i never got to use that option your having problems with.i took out Nero 7
and reinstalled Nero 6 and NOW all is good.i did use that clean tool
and still when i reinstalled Nero 7 the same problems again.thanks
4 responding.why do they release these 2 softwares if they have issues
instead of holding back fix the bugs and THEN release them?

Well benbernie you guess is as good as mine on why the problems w/ Nero 7 releases. Most main problems seem to be w/ audio, mp3 conversion & vision.

Not all user recieve the same issues in the different versions - can depend on a number of things - like your pc, specs and set up and settings in Nero.
Though 7 seems to have more problems then 6 ever did.

and all the non existant tutorials that Nero does tell u.im making
cds from 78s and then i use the wave editor there is the option ca-
leed embellishment where u have the tools to clean up records etc.
they dont say how to enable these different "clean up" tools.its
pretty much trial and error and even harder for a newbie like to
use them when i used to use a tape deck.im slowly figuring out how
to use them but it aint easy.thanks

Usually after the EULA stmt (agree to the terms) you'll get a screen that gives you opinions on the install like 'typical install' & 'custom install'. Check custom then next.
It will either list the applications to install where you can uncheck or list a tree that you right click on each different one and select do no install.
