im having a problem with the PSPSet for 1.5 FW psp. i selected the option to tweak my psp to a 2.0 to play GTA: LCS but it says the game cant be played for some reason. is there anything i can try to do or is it a problem everyone has?

LOL, read the hundreds of tuts detailing how to run higher firmware required games on the 1.5. Use the search button, this question is answered over and over.

i think your thinking i have the ISO for it but i have the actual game for it. if that makes a difference.

and so i searched real quick and i should be able to use Devhook

The firmware trick only works for 1.5,1.51,1.52 games. They dont work for higher games becuase 2.0+ games are encrypted.

if u wanna play that run umd emulator then run mph loader and it should work nicely

so just run UMD emulator, and it should read my UMD disc and play? ive tried using DEVhook but i cant get it to work.

UMD-MODE: UMD DISC
UMD-VER: 2.xx -> 2.00
FLASH: ms0:/dh/250(MS HOOK)
CLOCK: 222/111

SELECT START.
