i saw in some shops here that the GTA package that have an "M" rating,the umd inside has a picture on it.i guess the one i need must have the black colored GTA disc to be able to downgrade my brothers psp 2.6 am i correct? is there any way i could be able to do it using the new GTA? also my cousin has a psp 1007 w/firmware 1.52 i tried downgrading it for him using the mph method i did for my psp 1006 but it doesn't work on his psp. am i doing something wrong? sorry for being a dumb guy but any help wud be appreciated. thanks!

You can't use the new GTA, the exploit has been blocked. As for downgrading the 1.52 psp, I don't see any reason it shouldn't work.

For downgrading a firmware 1.52 PSP, you need to upgrade to firmware 2.00 first.

Then follow the instructions here:
