I'm started to get tired of this!
I have downloaded and wasted about 10 DVD+R Verbatim DVDs. I don't know what to do anymore after reading all forums.
One of my problem is that I cant copy an original ps2 game. I have Mortal Kombat Deception on PS2 and I have extracted it to my D: drive and made it to an iso fil and burned, it doesn't work.
I did even follow the steps on http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/173020
But I dont know what to do anymore. Someone that knows what the problem could be or know what to do?

I assume when you say you've 'extracted it to my D: drive and made it to an iso file', that you mean you have extracted all the files/folders, then made a UDF/ISO file?
DONT! Its much easier & far more successful to just put the disc into your DVD-ROM drive & get DVDecrypter to make the iso file with MODE > ISO > READ. Then burn it once the iso is created.
Also, switch to DVD-R's, they are much more compatible with the PS2.

Okey, the thing is that my burner only supports DVD+R. I'll try it your way, but I think I did it before with DVD Decrypter. It doesn't even says Reading Disc... so either my DVDs sucks or it's something worng when Im trying to fix the game.

All burners should support -R. Ive never seen one that doesnt, as its the most frequently used media type, though I have seen 1 or 2 that dont support +R.
Maybe you should go to the support section of your burner manufacturer's website & get the latest firmware.

check in dvddecrypter to see if your dvd burner supports booktyping, if it does then change the booktype to dvd-rom before you burn it on the +r.

I did an upgrade now with firmware from 1.25 to 3.20. Do you think this will help or what is it for?

upgrading firmware should help, but you should be able to just rip the game using DVD Decrypter, then burn it... have a look in my sig. for a link to a tutorial and see if you've done anything wrong there?

Shit, I have done exactly as the tutorial says. Don't know what to do. My old games works as well, but the new one, doesn't.
And that pisses me off! :P

I thought you had to rebuild MK : Deception to get it to work with Swap Magic. Are you using SM?
