Yea, that makes sense, hexitnow, esp. if you ripped w/ Fastloader b/c cell padding is on by default. Rebuilding w/ VcdromX takes away the cell padding. Same w/ UMDGen, but for newer games you wanna always use VcdromX. Tho I have never tried ISOBuster, so I couldn't tell you how that works. Always been curious tho. :)
@ KaosX: Did you have any luck w/ the rip kit? Everyone I've heard reports back from said it killed the game. If you had luck, good for you, but when it screws up on me, the game is still streaming, but I can't pause to quit or start the level over. I have to do a hard reset, launch DevHook all over again, then launch the ISO all over again. Pain in the butt. Plus no dialogue makes the game boring.
@ dusk77: In case hexitnow doesn't come back to this thread, no... You don't have to change any settings in VcdromX. You just follow the tutorial.
Here is a really simple tutorial:
*Double click the .exe
*close the first box that pops up (box is in FRONT of the active screen)
*drop in PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA.BIN
*hit "Ctrl+B"
*click the only yellow folder which pops up
*name the file which will first be named as an .FCD file
*choose where you want to save it by clicking on the bottom left "??" button. erm... I'm doing this all from memory, so if there is no bottom left button, then it's teh top right button labeled "??"
*Once it's done hit OK.
*Next, click the top left button (which, in IE would be "File". I think it's labeled "F(??)") go down to where it shows "ISO" click it
*A new box will pop up click on the .FCD file, then click where you want to save the .ISO
*save file
This will take a long time. Once it's done, it WILL NOT do anything. It will just stay at 100%. Wait until you hear your PC finish processing, then close the boxes out. ERASE the .FCD file and drag and drop the ISO.
Hope this helps, buddy.
Peace
