On the PSP, is Mega Man the closest I can get to Nintendo's Mario?

Hi,

I know nothing about Mario, Nintendo and Mega Man (I know, I feel bad about it, but I came from a situation where we had no gaming xpreriment..anyway, fortunately, that will be history very soon)

The PSP is my first gaming device. I've been impressed by what I heard about Nintendo and Mario (seems like they are the recipes to addictive and fun gaming). Since all I can afford currently is to continue my way with the PSP, I was searching for some Nintendo-style addictive games and ideally a PSP game that would be the closest possible to Mario (as fun and addictive as Mario..and why not...that has the same gameplay and feel as Mario). I've heard that Mega Man Powered Up could be the answer to my need. Is it right?

Ummm, you can always get Snes9xTY and play all mario games if you download "Mario All Stars" rom, and it gives you all 4 previous mario games...

Or better yet get NesterJ nes and play all the orginal mario games for NES .

My PSP board used to be a virgin untill upgraded to 1.51 not knowing their was even homebrew for the PSP.

Dude, you can downgrade it...download the 2.00 firmware from psp-hacks.com ..

then in your GAME folder of your memory stick make a folder called "UPDATE"...with all capital letters.

Place the 2.00 eboot in there.

On your PSP go into memory stick and update to 2.00...


After that follow this guide to downgrade from 2.00 to 1.50..

evolve 123 ive had 1.5 for a almost a year now. I upgraded my psp to 1.51 when you could only run homebrew on 1.0.
