Is it true that firmware 1.5 has problems reading memory sticks above 2gb?

No. I have one. A 4GB MS from SuccessHK (http://www.superufo.com)

Works perfectly and acts just like it should. I have it in the MagicGate all the time. In fact, I like it so much, I just ordered another one. Currently, they're going for like $150.00 USD!!!

And it's not a fake!!! It's great! Whaddaya mean, where's my source for this information? It was in the message above your last post!

Tip: Remember to FORMAT the MS when you get it. I put mine in the MagicGate, put PGO (PSP Game Organizer, which is an .exe file) on the 4GB MS and tried to launch it. I got major errors and a dialog warning box came up on the screen and said it couldn't find it or something. I got pissed immediately and thot "I KNEW IT!!! I GOT RIPPED OFF!!!" And I tried again and again for like 5 mins before I thot of formatting it. Usu, when I've gotten a SanDisk memory stick in the past, it's been PREFORMATTED, so I didn't have to format it. So I freaked out, but then realized this 4GB MS was actually meant for a camera, so it didn't come preformatted. But it works great, so what the hell...

Yea I'm so tempted to get one of these and I really need the space, I'd like to pack some games as well as movies onto the stick... just waiting for some green to roll in :D

Edit: Is the price dropping like crazy or what? It was around 189.00 a week ago.

Man are u serious, I was really thinking about getting a new stick....Im glad that u guys have a 4gb because that was my next step after seeing a 2gb for freakin 79.99...omfg... i had to buy it and this just changed my mind...Ok if its comp with 1.5 and all u need to do is reformat it, that ill just wait like someone said, for some green to roll in LOL
