2.7 can now be decrypted with dark_alex's decrypter, which means devhook should soon be able to be emulated on 1.5s!!!!
This is great news, we can see finally what it has to offer without losing 1.5 features!

And that will be incredible b/c We might actually be able to play Sega's OutRun Coast to Coast. Actually, I was thinking about upgrading to 2.60 to play it and then downgrading. This game is the most elusive game ever and I am impatiently waiting to play it. Hell, it's almost as bad as Gran Turismo Mobile. That game is like a ghost. It was supposed to be a damn launch title! WTF???

If you ppl are happy with emulating firmware 2.70, you'll get even happier now...firmware 2.71 will soon be emulated!!!

You are right xept replace 2.7 with 2.71..
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

Just wondering. Couldn't we use the 2.7 Decrypter to decrypt firmware 2.7. Then we put the firmware 2.7 flash files in where we normally put 2.5 flash files (dh\250). And we run DevHook in 2.5 mode, would it emulate 2.7?
Could someone with a 2.6 please decrypt the 2.7 FW (as u need 2.6 to do that) and upload it.
I want to try this out!
