Help needed with SM 3.6 and burned games

I'm having problems loading backed up games using Swam Magic 3.6 I have a new PSTWO model 75001 USA verson. DVD Decrypter is method of burning the backup. I have followed instructions to a T. I'm using DVD+Rs.

When I boot up swap magic I hit X to load the copied game. When I do so it says that I need to insert a Playstation or PS2 formated disk in the drive(acting like it resets and comes up). I'm going to try to copy on some better Media tonight but was just wondering if this is my possible problem. Thanks for any help in this matter.

you can do that with a slim, If you have the tools inserted properly.

Sorry for no reply... sent at work and unable to get back on here (Gotta love the military life). I have the modded lid for the flip top. I did try some new media and is working fine now. The disk I was using before are now working with no problems. For some reason the PS2 wasnt reading the disk. All is well now and working great. Thank you all for the help and replies in trying to help. Again, I am sorry for no reply earlier.

Sorry not a Marine here. I'm in the Air Force and worked 5 1/2 years in Combat Comm with Army Rangers. Now I'm a Chair Borne Ranger at last! But thanks again for the info and help. Sorry once again for such a slow response.
