I am a novice at burning DVDs, I have burned DVDs in the past using DVDSHRINK and Nero but now I am getting this error. I checked the DMA settings, downloaded Nero 7.0.8.2 as suggested in other posts and continue to get the message. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello.
A couple of points.
Last possible write address on media: 2298495 (510:46.45, 4489MB)
Last address to be written: 2286127 (508:01.52, 4465MB)
You're probably attempting to burn too close to the outer edge of the disk where problems often occur due to the way in which disks are made. In DVD Shrink, select Preferences... from the Edit menu. Select the Preferences tab. Under the Target Output Size dropdown menu select custom and enter 4350 in the mb box.

There appears to be some Roxio software installed. Roxio and Nero both install drivers that can conflict with one another. Uninstall the Roxio software and then run the Roxio Zapper:

There's a newer firmware available for your burner at the site below:

Your burner doesn't seem to be recognizing your media. It may be any of the problems above or something else. Attending to the items above may solve the problem. Also be sure to use good quality media like Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, or made in Japan labeled Sony or Fuji.
Lastly laptop burners are more finicky.
You may have too many other programs open when you're trying to burn. Close all applications no longer needed,
You could also try burning an ISO with DVD Decrypter from DVD Shrink if the above doesn't solve the problem with Nero.
