I played a friends psp and he had ridge racer and wipeout pure on it (a backup he had downloaded) and he could load them from the game menu and they had a proper logo and background just like when you insert a umd, he said he'd downloaded them. in the psp/game menu he had ridgeracer and ridger~2% directories so it uses the kxploit method but i tried to do the samething with an iso had and it just doesnt work i have to use fastloader or devhook still.

how can i do this and make the relevant eboot.pbp files?

UPDATE: I've managed to make a eboot.pbp that shows a menu option for the game Lumines using the icon files from the iso (extracted), but tell it to load the game and it says game corrupt

it sounds like your friend made his own custom launcher using run umd and a back pic, if you say that each game had its own backround. its like the old way of play syohone filter and stuff, its possible to do it with other games if you kno how, and that might be what your friend did..

he said he just downloaded the files and put it on the mem card and it worked like that didn't have to do anything special. Seen on PS2NFO about launchers from the memory stick in but can't find any info on how to make them. I've tried editing the eboot.pbp files he has but can't get them to work with other games. Lumines was one of the first games along with wipeout and ridge racer so i would have thought it could be done
