is it true that the fw 3.0 will have GPS...if it is, hows it goin to work,(will you need to be on a hotspot or somethin),will it cost any extra and how long is the battery goin to hold with the GPS...

you'll need to purchase the GPS. it's not like built into the psp or something, so who knows. it'll work like any other handheld style GPS unit is my guess. but we won't know alot more till it gets closer.

Oh go head and buy a gps so that sony can track the amount of iso's u have on ur psp....have fun, u think sony is dumb!!

That gps is basically a tracking device lol

but you would need 3.0 to have the GPS and the iso's wouldn't run on the 3.0 so then it would defeat the purpose of them tracking you....besides it sounds a bit far fetched because i don't think you'd be using sony satelites for the gps (too much cost to sony)

the gps will be a system where the maps will be stored on a separate duo card which you will have to insert with a gps umd and then you will be able to run.

I think that you only have to buy a gps reciever which cost about 27 pounds from ebay. I think the software wire be intergrated into the package
