Yes the Passcard3 does work with the EZIV lite.

Yes you do only need a Passcard3, a M3 or EZIV and a SD card.

Keep in mind that the EZIV is not comnpatible with much homebrew at the moment, but if homebrew does not interest you, then it's a good choice :-)

While the newest firmware for the EZIV Lite supports the Passcard3, the older ones don't. I'm not sure if they retail with the latest firmware, so if you do decide on getting it make sure you update the firmware in GBA mode before expecting the Passcard3 to work with it.

It should. I can't think of any reasons why it wouldn't.

I bought the following miniSD card: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=202152401&loc=101&sp=1 which I think is the same one you're looking at.. and I will be buying my M3 slim adapter from here when they're back in stock: http://www.getyourgameshere.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&...

I've shopped with these guys on eBay before when they were using another name.. one of the best eBay transactions I've ever had

Insert the miniSD into the bigger adapter, and insert that into your M3 or card reader.
When in that adapter the miniSD functions exactly the same as a normal SD card.
