divx file to dvd with m-peg lay audio

I have a DivX file I want to convert for dvd playback, but the audio is in mpeg-3 , I tried to convert using Nero and dvd santa, but was unsuccessful.

Is there a way I can do this. O r do I need somemore software

that should be mpeg layer 3 audio in the title. the audio type is mpeg layer 3

Shouldn't be a problem. Most .divx files would be using mp3 audio and .divx is backwards compatible with AVI.

Define unsuccessful though. It doesn't convert at all? Any errors?

ok first with dvd santa it unsupported audio, and with Nero vision it just would not encode, this file only plays on DivX player, it would not even play on windows media player.

Can you help pls?
