Hi,

i was wondering if I will be able to play backup games with 2 discs (such as star ocean and shadow hearts covenant) on my ps2 slimline using a fliptop and swap magic 3.6.

Will I be able to run the 2nd disc when i get the prompt to insert it?

or will my ps2 not be able to boot up the 2nd disc?

save the end of the first disc, reset, load up the second disc with swap magic and play on

what if there is no save point at the end of the first disc?

Then you are probably screwed? :P

All the multi-disc games I've played so far (those two you named included) have save points at the end, so shouldn't be a problem. In fact it's quite unusual for a game to NOT have a save point at the end of a disc (Valkyrie Profile in PS1 was one of these - but that's the only one I can remember)
