PSP MOBO IC1003 with Factory 2.6 - Downgradable?

Hi All,

I read that there are a lot of problem with IC1003 MOBO when try to downgrade from 2.6 to 1.5 Has anyone successfully downgraded with this board version from 2.6? Thanks in advance.

I was reading through this about a week ago and I remember seeing a guy from the UK saying he successfully downgraded his PSP which had the TA-082 mobo. I'll try to find his post

im very dubious about what 1 guy has said

the guys who created said it wont work

the UP guys say it wont work

and most sources say it wont work

but saying that....

hi, i did downgrade a factory 2.6 psp but it isn't a TA-082 mobo it is a 1C9001 mobo which isnt the TA-082 (IC1003) so i wouldn't downgrade your psp as it will brick as it is a TA-082 which will definatly brick using the 2.5/2.6 downgrader.

What???? TA-082 is same as IC1003? Then I definitely can't downgrade then. Can someone confirm that TA-082 is same as IC1003? Then why doesn't the guide said IC1003 instead of TA-082? Anyone?

Opps. I didn't look at your image. Thanks. So why they said TA-082 isntead of just say IC1003 is not upgradable? I checked my MOBO version and was about to upgrade. Thankgoodness I did some reading.
