Is this true? I read it in a national newspaper in the UK, It says that it will happen by the end of 2007. Has anyone else heard or read this?

There has been word of Sony bringing out a PS1 emulator for the PSP, which will mean a firmware upgrade to play it.

Yeah sony is supposed to be releasing a psone emulator with one of the later firmware releases. It could of all been an ellaborate hoax. But it is supposed to happen.

I doubt its a hoax. I've seen it working! I saw it on a video of the E3 Sony Press-conference at gamespot.com

yeah, i heard that you have to pay to download games... doesn't that mean that people could probably just rip isos and use those? or even dl them. yikes sony is making a bold move, of course they could have some magical format that can only be run..
